My best friend of 30 years showed me this video years ago - maybe around 2013/2014- I never met a more disciplined individual in my life and he was an unbelievable example of overcoming the adversity of a f*cked up childhood/ family situation. He died in March of 2023 - while this video is incredibly hard for me to listen to now - it still sends such a powerful message that we can, and need to be reminded of every single day - and for me - it’s a way I can come back and see him. I’ll never forget the moment we shared watching this video together - and many many thanks to the creator of this video. May you all find peace and success in your life however you see fit. I wish it was as simple as work hard the right way and gain success. I watched this for the first time over 10 years ago. This just isn’t true, Kai never beat Phil, Arnold beat Mentzer, and I’m sitting here at work an hour early at 6:30am after working out from 4:30 to 5:30am.
